These paintings are of the Picos Mountains which it was a complete joy to spend time in and very lovely, the combination of the domestic feeling small villages with their small roads and fields and the quite wild-feeling upper areas of the mountains surrounding them, with vultures and other birds as well as apparently some wolves.
